28 10 16 – Snatch conditioning work

Warm up / pre activation:

  • 20m knee pulls
  • 20m quad pulls
  • 20m horse walk
  • 2×8 viking sloth press
  • Burgener warm up

 

Strength / technique – Snatch:

  • Technical review then…
  • 3 position snatch 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 – work to a heavy single (set up, top of knee, launch, GO)
  • Back squat 5-5-5-5-5 (start at 75% 5RM then increase each set)
  • GHD back extention 10-10-10 (add weight if possible)

If there is time finish with – 3 sets of max GHD sit ups
